Wedding Coordinator

Location: Greater Vancouver

Rate: $20/hour + Gratuities

Hours: On Call

Job Description: We are looking for a wedding coordinator to assist with weddings at various venues in Vancouver. Weddings may occasionally be outside of Vancouver for which you will be compensated. Your overall goal will be assisting the couple to ensure that our clients have an amazing experience. This is an on call position in which you will be notified prior to each event. You will be overseeing the setup to tear down as well as trouble-shooting throughout the event to ensure a seamless occasion for the couple as well as their guests. A passion for weddings and a eye for detail is a must!

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Have a reliable (and large) vehicle to get to and from the venue with occasional decor supplies  

  • Have wedding coordinator training/experience OR at least 3 years serving experience

  • Be a strong leader and able to complete tasks with little to no supervision

  • Be a team player

  • Be able to lift and move chairs (as well as tables with assistance)

  • Be available on weekends

  • Be fluent in both written and spoken English

  • Be legally able to work in Canada

Having your Food Safe Certification and a Serving it Right Certification is a bonus as well as being a lover of all things wedding!

Venue Coordinator

Location: Summerland (Okanagan)

Rate: $25/hour + Gratuities

Hours: On Call

Job Description: We are looking for a venue coordinator to assist with weddings at a winery venue regularly. Your overall goal will be assisting the venue to ensure that all of their couples have an amazing experience. This is an on call position in which you will be notified prior to each event. You will be overseeing the setup to tear down as well as trouble-shooting throughout the event to ensure a seamless occasion for the couple as well as their guests. A passion for weddings and a eye for detail is a must!

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Have a reliable vehicle to get to and from the venue. 

  • Some experience as a server or wedding coordinator is preferred

  • Be able to complete tasks as instructed

  • Be a team player

  • Be able to lift a box of wine & other items of similar weight

  • Be available on weekends

  • Be fluent in both written and spoken English

  • Be legally able to work in Canada

Rate: $20/hour (flexible based on experience)

Hours: 10-5 Monday through Friday

Job Description: We are looking for an amazing individual to greet our clients as well as be knowledgable about our in-store products. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for weddings, love to organize as well as be a  social media guru. 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Be able to manage a busy calendar and appointments

  • Have strong customer service skills

  • Ability to balance and prioritize tasks

  • Have at least 2 years admin experience OR come from a management background (wedding experience is an asset)

  • Be a strong leader and able to complete tasks with little to no supervision

  • Have good "over the phone" skills and be a strategic thinker

  • Be familiar with using Google Docs, Gmail, Instagram and simple booking systems

  • Have a reliable vehicle for occasional decor & floral deliveries (fuel compensation available)

  • Be a team player

  • Have availability for some weekends

  • Be fluent in both written and spoken English

  • Be legally able to work in Canada
